This MIG welding course is designed to give a beginner's information about welding with a wire welder.
The course is on two consecutive nights @ the Fredericktown Vo. Ag. Building.
This program will cover:
- Safety
- Types of gases used to filter impurities
- Operation of a wire welder
- Running beads, fusing metal together.
Each participant will need:
- Clothing made of natural fibers like wool or cotton.
- Long sleeve shirt and pants that cover all exposed skin.
- Close toed shoes (leather boots)
This $50 program will give you basic insight on the safe use of the MIG welder. Participants will spend 20% of time in classroom on theory and 80% of time in the shop practicing the safe operation of the MIG welder.
