Southeast Region Volunteer Leadership Training Grant

Through a generous endowment given by B. W. Harrison, the Missouri 4-H Foundation will provide one grant annually in the amount of $1,000 for adult volunteer leadership training in the Southeast MU Extension region. Mr. Harrison spent most of his career in Southeast Missouri and strongly valued quality leadership training. This training program is coordinated on a regional bases by 4-H faculty and staff from the Southeast region.

How to request funds

One 4-H faculty member from the Southeast MU Extension region may request these grant funds on behalf of their region. Applications must be received no later than May 1 of the current calendar year for an opportunity in the following fiscal year. The grant will be awarded on or before July 1.

Requirements

Applications must be completed electronically and submitted to the Missouri 4-H Foundation at 4hfoundation@missouri.edu.

At the conclusion of the program, a narrative report must be submitted to the Missouri 4-H Foundation outlining the number of volunteers involved, the outcomes and any photos, news articles or printed materials used.
