Khaiuna Ayetimiyi is a May 2017 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, with an emphasis in international relations, and a minor in French. Although originally from Winona, Mississippi, she moved to Poplar Bluff, MO and graduated from Poplar Bluff High School. While at SEMO, Khaiuna was a member of Model United Nations, Southeast Serves, and the Student-Alumni Association. In addition to being a part of social groups, she was chosen to represent SEMO as an Ambassador for the 2016 Governor's Youth Leadership Forum under Jay Nixon, an Ambassador for the 2016 Sue Shear 21st Century Leadership Academy, and a Legislative Intern for the Missouri Capitol in 2017. Khaiuna plans to pursue a master's degree in international affairs."
