Bryana Larimer is a Business Trainer & Consultant for the Missouri Training Institute (MTI), a partnership between the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business and University of Missouri Extension. Bryana holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and began her career in broadcast as a reporter in Phoenix, Az. Inspired by a desire to continuously learn, she dove into broadcast production and promotions leading to her role as an Assistant Technical Director for The Networks of Mid-Missouri in Columbia, Mo. Prior to coming to MTI, Bryana served as the Public Information Officer for the Columbia Police Department where she managed crisis communication and marketing. She has delivered training to local businesses related to safety, as well as trainings to state-wide organizations on topics including: media relations, social media for businesses, and strategic communication."Bryana Larimer is a Business Trainer and Consultant for the Missouri Training Institute (MTI). In partnership with the University of Missouri Extension and the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business, Bryana serves public, private, and not-for-profit organizations and their employees by designing and delivering customized training programs on topics spanning front-line needs to supervision, management, and leadership. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and mass communication with an emphasis in broadcast. Bringing over a decade of experience in communication, public relations, and marketing to MTI, Bryana manages the creative department and is always looking for innovative ways to connect and engage with clients. She produces MTI’s podcast, The Weekly Workplace, leads live events on social media, and creates on-demand micro-learning experiences. Bryana is certified in Emotional Intelligence (EQ-i 2.0) and the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI). She believes the greatest blessing people are given is the opportunity to pour into the lives of others.
