This enterprise budget helps farmers estimate the income, costs, and potential profitability of producing cucumbers in a high tunnel. Table 1 provides estimates based on Missouri prices, production assumptions, and growing conditions. The estimates assume 288 cucumber plants are grown in a 2,000-square-foot production area using drip irrigation and a trellis netting system supported by T-posts.
