This enterprise budget helps farmers estimate the income, costs and potential profitability of producing tomatoes in a high tunnel. Table 1 provides estimates based on Missouri prices, production assumptions and growing conditions. The estimates assume tomatoes are grown in a 2,000-square-foot production area using drip irrigation.
