Membership
Everyone must pay an annual membership fee to take part in the program – the academic year runs from August 2025 through July 2026 (Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer semesters).
Membership Benefits are as follows:
- Access to Friday lectures, Book Talks and other “value-added” content.
- Take part in any of the Osher clubs or shared interest groups (SIGs).
- Discounted membership in Columbia Parks & Rec 50+ program.
- Qualify to register for National Osher Online courses, a program of Northwestern University School of Professional Studies.
Annual Membership Fee Choices (Updated for Summer)
Premium Membership
$120 annual fee (prorated for summer)
- Unlimited multi-week courses for Summer only. (National Osher Online courses are not included.)
- Plus all the Membership Benefits listed above.
- Premium Perks:
- Bring a guest to Friday Sessions.
- Request an MU Libraries card.
- Eligible for Advisory Council
Standard Membership
$20 per year (prorated for summer)
- Comes with all the Membership Benefits listed above.
- Allows you to opt-in to enroll in multi-week courses for the remainder of the academic year — you simply pay by the course:
- 2-week courses: $20 each
- 4-week courses courses: $40 each
