Join us for a pasture tour of the Kevin Welsh Farm which is a fall calving cattle operation to discuss establishment and grazing management of native warm season grasses. Our speaker panel includes Kevin Welsh-farmer/landowner, Terry Halleran-MU Extension Agronomy Field Specialist, and Landry Jones-MFA Natural Resource Grazing Conservation Specialist. Educational topics include native warm season grass establishment, cattle grazing management of native warm season grasses, and drill management and calibration. Following the educational portion Welsh will lead a tour and discuss management of native warm season grass establishment and management within his fall calving cattle operation.  

Event is free and a meal will be provided.
