Agriculture and environment
MU Extension’s Agriculture and Environment program works to strengthen Missouri’s largest industry while protecting the state’s natural resources. With agriculture contributing nearly $94 billion annually to the economy, our mission is to double that value by 2030 through research, innovation, and education. As part of a top-tier land-grant university, we bring science-based solutions directly to farmers, businesses, and communities—helping Missourians improve productivity, sustainability, and quality of life. Our programs support lifelong learning, connect people with university expertise, and ensure that Missouri agriculture continues to grow and thrive for generations to come.
