This newsletter corresponds with Lesson 6 of the Show Me Nutrition Fifth Grade curriculum. Fruit is an important part of everyday diet. It is fat-free, filling and contains many important nutrients that can help prevent dangerous health problems like heart disease and cancer. This newsletter provides ideas for quick and healthy fruit snacks. A recipe is also included.
