Are your vegetables and fruits getting bugged… by insects and diseases?
Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies focus on ecosystem-based approaches that can reduce farmer's reliance on synthetic insecticides and fungicides. IPM can help you understand the biology and lifecycle of problematic pests and develop effective strategies to reduce crop damage.
Join MU Extension and LU Extension at the Columbia Center for Urban Agriculture Farm (CCUA) for an IPM Twilight Tour Workshop. The evening will start with an overview discussion of IPM and dive into more detail with a field tour where we will discuss some of the most problematic pests at CCUA and IPM-based strategies to control them.
MU and LU Extension Plant Pathologists and Entomologists will share their insights to help strengthen your knowledge and the resilience of your crop production systems.
