This training covers important competency standards like reading and understanding pesticide labels, pesticide application techniques, storing and disposing of chemicals safely, and protecting pollinators and other wildlife. It also explains state and federal rules about pesticide use and allows applicators an opportunity to ask questions about the latest developments.
You must complete this training to make an application for the Noncertified Restricted-Use Pesticide Applicator license. The license will allow you to legally use or determine the need for the use of any restricted use pesticide while under the direct supervision of a certified commercial applicator, certified noncommercial applicator or certified public operator.
This training program helps protect people, crops, animals, and the environment while promoting safe pesticide use.
Registration fee is $50.
Event will be held live, via Zoom, 3pm-5-pm, June 18th.
