SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The 101st Greene County Ag Production Conference on Feb. 12 focuses on beef, drones and hay. The event is 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Springfield Livestock Marketing Center, 6821 W. Independence Drive.
Greene County commissioners, University of Missouri Extension and the Greene County MU Extension Council, with support from the Green County Soil & Water Conservation District and Springfield Livestock Center, sponsor the annual event, which includes a free beef dinner with registration.
MU Extension field agronomist Tim Schnakenberg said MU Extension specialists will talk on drone usage in agriculture, how to make good hay in bad weather, and the outlook for the 2026 beef market. Presenters are Jake Hefley, Caleb O’Neal and Schnakenberg.
