Join MU Extension and local farmers for an on-farm hands-on educational experience. High tunnel production is a growing trend in specialty crop production that provides benefits such as season extension and reduction of certain foliar diseases. However, growing in high tunnels requires specific management practices to maximize production so come learn from farmers and Extension specialists about:

- Site-specific management practices

- High tunnel structures and environmental management

- Insect/arthropod pest and disease control

- Fertility and irrigation management

- High Tunnel Crop Enterprise Budgets and FSA Resources for Small Farmers

- and more!

A light dinner (pizza) will be provided.
