Register today for our 2025 Cattle Reproduction Shortcourse!
Join us at the Texas County Extension Office meeting room in Houston, MO, on September 12, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The cost to attend is $25 per person and will include a light lunch.
This one-day shortcourse will cover need-to-know topics and practical knowledge to help you make informed decisions and improve reproductive success in your herd.
Classroom sessions will include:
- Selecting a calving season
- AI versus natural service
- Bull selection and understanding EPDs
- Estrus synchronization
- Anatomy and physiology of cows
In the afternoon, participants will get hands-on practice with artificial insemination techniques using cadaver reproductive tracts.
