Are you wanted to get started in the showring this summer? Have you shown before but want to up your showmanship game?

The Douglas County Livestock Showmanship Clinic is the perfect opportunity to learn more about how to be the best in the showmanship ring. Youth will also learn more about what it takes to succeed outside the ring with educational sessions on barn etiquette, nutrition, and more! There will only be presentations and livestock demonstrations at the clinic.

No animals are required. Livestock will be present to provide a showmanship demonstration.

All youth are welcome! You do not have to be a member of 4-H to attend, but youth are encouraged to join 4-H.

Please contact Katy Taylor at (417) 683-4409 if you are interested in signing up for 4-H.

There are bleachers available at the fairgrounds, but we encourage you to bring lawn chairs.

A light snack will be provided for youth during the break.

Please register online or call the Douglas County Extension office at (417) 683-4409.
