Have you been wanting to learn how to compost your yard and kitchen waste? Maybe you have started a compost pile, but it is not working correctly. Participants attending this free program will learn:

  • making and using compost in their gardens
  • the benefits of compost
  • sources of composting materials
  • methods of composing
  • issues during compost making.

Free compost bin: The first 25 participants who register for the event will receive a free composting bin at the event. Email Kirk Kopper  (email address listed below) to request a free bin after you register.  * Please note if you register and request a bin but do not attend the event, your bin may be given to another participant.

This learning workshop is sponsored by Northwest Regional Council of Governments. Partial funding made possible by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
