Description

Smart Manufacturing: Cyber Physical Systems and Smart Manufacturing introduces the core components of cyber physical systems (CPS) and the use of Factory I/O software to model, build, and simulate production environments. Participants will learn how CPS technologies integrate with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) to create highly efficient, data-driven manufacturing systems. The module emphasizes designing simple cyber-physical manufacturing processes and simulating them using Factory I/O connected to a PLC.
