Description

The course presents accident statistics, safety costs, safety culture, ethics, workers’ compensation, the OSH Act and OSHA standards, recordkeeping, and inspections. OSHA 10 training is included. OSHA subparts are presented via jobsite hazard analyses for all scopes of a sample commercial building project.

Learning Outcomes:

When you successfully complete this course, you will be able to:

  • Identify and explain connections between construction safety and health conditions on jobsites and Federal OSHA requirements for construction safety.
  • Analyze construction jobsites for good safety practices and potential hazards.
