The webinar offered in 2023 focused on protected agriculture cropping systems. Protected agriculture encompasses the use of structures and plastics to control the plant growth environment. This series focused on specialty crop production in protected structures that provide passive environmental control such as high tunnels and low tunnels. The goal of the series was to give confidence to beginning farmers when starting a fruit farm and to encourage established farmers to diversify their farms. The series provided science-based recommendations, tools and trainings to help farmers. The classes featured in this series recordings include:
