Aquaculture and Fisheries Extension

The MU Aquaculture and Fisheries Extension Program provides educational resources and research-based information that can be used to develop a successful aquaculture enterprise for food production as well as to provide information on managing your pond or lake for improved sportfishing or other management objectives. Missouri has over 300,000 private ponds and lakes that can provide excellent fishing and recreational uses as well as provide opportunities for aquaculture production. The resources and links that are provided on this website will help you plan and manage the water resources on your property for fishing and other recreational activities or for developing a successful aquaculture enterprise.
