Published

ROCK PORT, Mo. – For 41 years, the Three-State Beef Conference has provided beef cattle producers in Iowa, Missouri and Nebraska an annual update on cow-calf and stocker topics affecting producers in the three-state area.

The 2026 conference is Jan. 13, 14 and 15, in Maryville, Mo., Greenfield, Iowa, and Lincoln, Neb., respectively, says Amie Schleicher, University of Missouri Extension livestock specialist.

Attendees will hear from specialists at three top land-grant universities as well as other industry experts, Schleicher says.

Presenters include Craig Payne, MU director of Veterinary Extension and Continuing Education; Yijie Xiong, assistant professor and precision livestock management specialist at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln; and Elliott Dennis, associate professor and livestock meat economist at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Attendees can expect topics like emerging parasitic threats, up-and-coming technologies for the beef industry and how the global meat market is shaping cattle supply.

Details and registration for Jan. 13 conference. The cost per attendee is $30, dinner included.
