Join Missouri Women Owning Woodlands for our 2nd annual fall field trip! At Ha Ha Tonka State Park, we will explore their 3000 acres of woods, featuring extensive old growth oak woodlands and glade complexes with decades of management and prescribed fire. We will discover the impact of karst geologic features- sinkholes, caves, springs- on the landscape.

This event involves hiking along moderately difficult trails, including some moderate inclines and irregular, rocky, gravelly surfaces. Please come prepared for this type of hiking with sturdy shoes and walking sticks if necessary.

This event is free and open to all! Lunch is included. For any questions or accommodation needs, please contact Sarah Higgins at sarah.higgins@missouri.edu or 636-797-5391.
