This 3 hour workshop is designed to bring to light common summer issues facing grazing cattle and the pastures they roam. Time will be spent teaching livestock producers how to identify common weed and brush species that are prevalent through the growing season and how to control them. We will also explore common livestock issues such as summer forage toxicity issues, fly and tick control strategies. The course will be taught by MU Extension Plant Sciences Specialist Caleb O'Neal and Livestock Specialist Andy McCorkill. The meeting will be held in the Dallas County Governmental Annex Building meeting room, located on the east side of the square in Buffalo. The address is 102 Cedar, Buffalo, MO 65622.
