Are you a flower, fruit, or vegetable producer who needs to hire paid labor? Or a gardener hoping to scale up, and realizing that you will probably need to pay someone to help you? Or are you an agricultural educator who works with new growers who hope to start or grow a business with employees? If yes, then this workshop is for you.
The STL Farm Labor Workshop will cover topics specifically related to hiring employees for the first time as well as managing said employees. The workshop will be taught by MU Extension, local labor authorities and have a farmer panel.
Lunch and snacks will be provided.
