Quality for Keeps: Home Food Preservation focuses on safe and correct food preservation methods in the home setting. This "Pickling" workshop will:
- Review steps used to prepare produce for pickling,
- Identify key ingredients used in pickling and how they contribute to a safe product,
- Identify proper equipment for pickling,
- Help consumers understand safe processing techniques used in making home-preserved pickled products, and
- Review resources to use for the home preservation of safe pickled products.
