Quality for Keeps: Home Food Preservation focuses on safe and correct food preservation methods in the home setting. This "Pickling" workshop will:

  •  Review steps used to prepare produce for pickling, 
  •  Identify key ingredients used in pickling and how they contribute to a safe product,
  •  Identify proper equipment for pickling,
  •  Help consumers understand safe processing techniques used in making home-preserved pickled products, and
  •  Review resources to use for the home preservation of safe pickled products.
