Quality for Keeps: Home Food Preservation focuses on safe and correct food preservation methods in the home setting. This "Freezing and Dehydrating" workshop will:

  •  Review steps used to prepare produce for freezing, 
  •  Help consumers understand processing techniques used in making home-frozen products of highest quality,
  •  Prepare a vegetable for freezing using approved techniques,
  •  Help consumers understand equipment required and processing techniques for safely dehydrating produce and meats, and
  •  Review resources for the home preservation of frozen and dehydrated products.
