The Ozark Prairie Master Gardeners and University of Missouri Extension invite the public to a Field Day on September 20, 2025.
The Field Day is offered free of charge.
There will be presentations on pond management, growing orchids, using worms to create compost, mushroom gardening, feeding plants, care of cactus and succulents, woodland herbs, bluebird and bird flu updates, the impact of artificial lights in nature, rose care, portable sawmill demonstrations, and monarchs presented by representatives from the University of Missouri, MO Cactus and Succulent Society, MO Bluebird Society, Friends of the Monarchs, MO Department of Conservation, MO Master Naturalists, MO River Birds Observatory and Ozark Prairie Master Gardeners.
Lunch will be available on the farm.
The Dixieland Garage and Kevin Wilson will be providing entertainment in the dining area.
Registration begins at 9:30am.
