Description
Prepare for the nationally recognized Child Development Associate® (CDA) Credential—the most widely accepted certification in early childhood education. Whether you’re new to the field or looking to advance, this program helps you build essential skills, boost your confidence, and meet job qualifications. This course introduces social and emotional development, including an overview of socioemotional development and encouraging cooperative play. Much learning and teaching in early childhood education is impacted by socioemotional development and play, so it is important to cover this information. This course explains the importance of play and particularly cooperative play, an important educational strategy for promoting positive socioemotional development. Students will also learn how to use play-based strategies to build children’s social and emotional development.
