Description
These trainings review essential components of establishing a therapeutic relationship with adult and pediatric clients with obesity and thorough medical nutrition assessment. The trainings describe medical nutrition therapy and its role in conjunction with intensive behavioral treatment, pharmacotherapy and bariatric surgery. The trainings review the steps in becoming a Missouri Medicaid provider and a recognized provider of medical nutrition therapy for obesity with Missouri HealthNet.
