Abstract
This meat goat budget is designed to reflect the economic costs and returns of a 50-doe, spring-kidding herd (March and April) with kids marketed between 55 and 70 pounds in January. This management system takes advantage of spring forage production, the natural breeding season and high seasonal market prices.
