This course focuses on developing custom exercises specific to your community that will assist in preparing for emergencies involving schools. These exercises will assist the school community and can help you plan for all types of disasters. Topics include how to implement and practice risk reduction techniques, post-disaster recovery, mitigation opportunities, school violence, and crisis counseling. The audience for the course includes school administrators, principals, school board members, faculty, risk managers and other concerned with school system operations.
