This short course introduces the Incident Command System (ICS) to elected officials, executives and other senior officials. The course describes the features, principles, and organizational structure of ICS. It also explains the relationship between ICS and the Emergency Operations Center and decisions that must be made by senior officials to support moderate and complex crisis incidents. This course is NIMS compliant and meets the NIMS Baseline Training requirements for ICS.
