Professional background

B.A. English and B.A. Philosophy, Washington University in St. Louis; M.A. English, Washington University in St. Louis; M.A. Teaching, Johns Hopkins University. Rebecca has worked as program officer for an independent, national foundation; has owned and run a WBE-certified business; and has taught in an underfunded public school. As Field Specialist in Community Development, Rebecca’s MU Extension programs include: Women and Civic Engagement; the Forum for Community Dialogue; NLA mini-grants management; and others. As Extension Engagement Specialist, Rebecca works with the local Extension Council and stakeholders to bring the University’s best practices to St. Louis County residents.
