Professional background
Olivia has worked on farms in the U.S. and internationally, which has fueled her passion for regenerative agricultural practices. Olivia received her B.S. in Horticulture, and an M.S. in Agricultural and Extension Education from the University of Arkansas. Her Ph.D. in Agricultural Education and Communication is from the University of Florida. Olivia has experience with interdisciplinary extension programs and connecting technical experts with farmers to meet diverse needs, particularly focused on climate-smart practices.
Areas of work
Olivia Caillouet is the Soil Health Program Manager for the MU Center for Regenerative Agriculture. Olivia specifically supports the Farmers for Soil Health Initiative, emphasizing cover crop adoption and continued use. Most recently, Olivia has been involved with women-focused agricultural programs promoting conservation.
