PINEVILLE, Mo. – Area cattle producers and community members are invited to attend a free Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) training 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, at the Pineville Community Center, 602 Jessie James Road, Pineville.
This educational event is hosted in partnership with the Missouri Beef Industry Council and the Newton/McDonald County Cattlemen’s Association, said Patrick Davis, University of Missouri Extension livestock specialist. The event will provide attendees with the opportunity to earn their BQA certification at no cost. BQA is a nationally recognized program that emphasizes best management practices, animal care, food safety and stewardship throughout the beef industry, Davis said.
Dinner will be served, and the training is open to everyone, including producers, students and anyone interested in learning more about beef production.
Participants will leave the event fully BQA-certified, gaining valuable knowledge and credentials that support both on-farm practices and consumer confidence, he said.
RSVP is requested. To reserve your spot, contact Ally Crick at allison@mobeef.com or 573-473-6724.
