Recognizing donors is an important way for MU Extension to say thank you for helping us improve the lives, communities, and businesses of Missourians. MU Extension works with the University of Missouri Office of Advancement to thank donors through its various recognition programs.
MU Land-Grant Society
The MU Land-Grant Society recognizes donors who have contributed cumulative lifetime gifts of $50,000 or more or annual gifts of $2,500 or more to any area of MU Extension, including the Missouri 4-H Foundation. Their consistent support allows MU Extension to meet the changing needs of Missourians and invest in emerging opportunities that help us solve Missouri’s grand challenges around agricultural growth and stewardship, economic opportunity, educational access, and health and well-being.
MU Jefferson Club
The MU Jefferson Club recognizes donors who have contributed cumulative lifetime gifts of $50,000 or more to any academic area or university program, including MU Extension and the Missouri 4-H Foundation. Members of the Jefferson Club receive a commemorative lapel pin and invitations to exclusive campus and regional events.
MU Legacy Society
The MU Legacy Society honors donors who establish a planned gift of any amount to any academic area or university program, including MU Extension and the Missouri 4-H Foundation. Members are recognized annually at a campus event.
Corporate recognition through the Missouri 4-H Foundation
Programs offered by Missouri 4-H would not be possible without the generous support of our donors and partners. Individuals, businesses and organizations who give $250 or more annually through one or more multiple gifts may be recognized in a variety of ways offering our partners greater visibility to Missouri 4-H families, volunteers and staff.
Memorials and tributes
Donations to MU Extension or the Missouri 4-H Foundation may be designated as a tribute in honor of someone living, or in memory of someone that has died.
Named scholarships and endowments
Donors may choose to establish named scholarships or endowments through MU Extension or the Missouri 4-H Foundation. By doing so, donors can create a legacy in honor of individuals who are passionate about our mission. Please note that naming opportunities must be approved in accordance with university policy.
Donor honor roll
The Donor honor roll acknowledges individuals, businesses and organizations who make outright gifts of $250 or more to MU Extension or the Missouri 4-H Foundation during the fiscal year (July 1 – June 30).
