The Tai Chi for Arthritis and Falls Prevention program is designed to improve multiple aspects of health through slow, gentle movements that can be practiced almost anywhere.
The degree of exertion can be easily adjusted, making this program suitable for adults of all levels and abilities.
Published medical studies have demonstrated benefits, including pain relief, improved balance, and a reduction in falls.
You will learn warm-up exercises, six elemental and six advanced moves, and a cooldown during 20 one-hour classes, held twice a week. The harmony of the inner and outer self comes from integrating the mind and body, which can be achieved through the ongoing practice of tai chi.
There is a one-time fee of $50 per participant, which covers all sessions.
