Join our Stay Strong, Stay Healthy (SSSH) Level 3 to continue your strength training journey. For our level 3 you will be asked to perform exercises at a quicker pace, to develop the power necessary for muscles to respond quickly. This can be an additional tool when it comes to preventing falls. Our hourlong classes, held twice a week for eight weeks, include a warmup, easy-to-learn strength exercises, and a cool-down led by trained instructors. We provide weights and mats, and you only need comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. After the course, you’ll receive a guide to continue the exercises at home. Stay strong and live independently longer! Participants are asked to be able to get to and from the ground to be able to complete Level 3 of Stay Strong Stay Healthy.
Classes will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays for 8 consecutive weeks starting January 22nd and ending March 12th.
There is a $50 cost which covers all 16 sessions of the course.
Class starts at 12:30PM at the McKee Gymnasium.
