We will focus on simple, but effective techniques for rescuing downed firefighters and stressing the importance of crews’ continuation of operating to control and extinguish the fire. Additionally, we will discuss the importance of tool selection and how what you choose to keep in your pockets could be a critical factor in a successful rescue. From being intimately familiar with your SCBA to exactly where tools are in your pocket, this class will offer every firefighter and officer a challenging experience to be prepared for a Mayday.
