Neighboring 101 is not just for new homeowners or people new to community life. The ongoing program is for anyone wanting to improve their neighborhood or community as well as their personal life and health.

When you register or subscribe to the program, you get access to videos of all past Neighboring 101 classes (dating back to 2020) and become a member of the Engaged Neighbor Network.

Neighboring 101 class members receive a special monthly digital newsletter for the class. These emails will contain details about the upcoming class. Members also have access to David Burton for individual coaching sessions related to neighboring.

In these monthly Zoom classes, typically held at 12 noon the third Thursday of each month, we will look at the science and art of neighboring by highlighting examples across the nation where it is being done well. Past guests have included neighborhood award winners, practitioners, authors and researchers. We also focus on related issues like placemaking, loneliness, belonging, third places and neighborhood leadership.

Being an active and engaged neighbor can help people, organizations, and communities to expand participation while respecting differences and embracing the variety that makes communities vibrant. Take what you learn in Neighboring 101 and improve your neighborhood, your community and yourself.

Join host David Burton for this live monthly zoom presentation and ask your own questions of the guests.

There is a one time registration fee of $50 to access all future Neighboring 101 classes, access videos of past classes, and become a new member of the Engaged Neighbor Network.
