The schools are designed to cover practical topics encountered by tax preparers. These schools will be using the 2026 National Income Tax Workbook from the Land Grant University Tax Education Foundation. The schools will cover:

Day 1

  • Gift Taxes & Rulings
  • Individual Tax Issues - Part 1
  • Individual Tax Issues - Part 2
  • Retirement Tax Issues
  • Business Tax Issues
  • Agriculture & Natural Resource Tax Issues

Day 2

  • Federal Ethics
  • Agriculture & Natural Resource Tax Issues
  • Payroll and Estimated Tax
  • Business Entity Tax Issues
  • Restaurant and Hospitality Businesses
  • Capital Gains & Losses
  • Rulings & Cases
  • New Legislation
  • Missouri Department of Conservation

The school is two days. The contents will be the same for this school, Springfield (Oct. 28 & 29) and Online (Dec. 3 & 4). If you need to attend two different schools, such as one day in Columbia and the second day online, then you need to call 573-581-3231. If you choose to attend just one day, you will need to call 573-581-3231.

Registering via this site is only for persons attending both days in Columbia.

            This registration is for Columbia  – Oct. 26 & 27

    There are additional schools in Springfield (Oct. 28 & 29) and Online (Dec. 3 & 4)

Cost: $405

    There is an early bird discount of $40 for the two days, which ends on Oct. 2, 2026.

Time: 8:00 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. each day


Each participant will receive a 2026 National Income Tax Workbook. In addition, all participants will receive access to prior years workbooks in digital format and searchable database.
