Farm leases are a very hot topic right now with cash rents at their current level and crop prices staying higher so landlords and tenants need to make certain they’re getting what they believe they should be” said Jason C. Morris Ph.D., Agricultural Business Specialist with University of Missouri Extension.
"There are many issues both farm landlords and tenants need to be aware of and this program is designed to address these issues” according to Jason
Topics that will be discussed that night are:
- Current cash rents in Missouri and trends
- Livestock/crop share arrangements-Keeping it fair
- Recreational (hunting) leases-understanding items
The program will be presented in person and by Zoom so the audience can see and interact with the instructor as well as other sites.
Cost is $10 per person and $5 for each additional family member.
