Do you want to learn the basics of gardening while promoting a healthy environment? Join us for the Extension Garden Steward a 5-week in-person course designed for gardeners of all experience levels.
This interactive course includes hands-on activities following each presentation, giving you practical skills to grow and maintain a thriving garden.
Topics Covered:
- Site assessment
- Vegetable gardening and food safety
- Ornamental gardening
- Insects and integrated pest management
- Pollinator habitats and stewardship
Course Details:
- When: Saturdays, March 29th through April 26th, 10:00AM~12:00PM
- Where: Kansas City Public Library - Helzburg Auditorium
- Format: In-person with hands-on activities
- Cost: Free
