Do you want to learn the basics of gardening while promoting a healthy environment? Join us for the Extension Garden Steward: Green Thumb Bootcamp, a 5-week in-person course designed for gardeners of all experience levels.

This interactive course includes hands-on activities following each presentation, giving you practical skills to grow and maintain a thriving garden.

Topics Covered:

  • Site assessment
  • Vegetable gardening and food safety
  • Ornamental gardening
  • Insects and integrated pest management
  • Pollinator habitats and stewardship

Course Details:

  • When: Wednesdays, March 9th through April 16th, 5:30PM~7:30PM
  • Where: Blue Springs South Public Library, 2220 S Hwy 7, Blue Springs, MO 64014
  • Format: In-person with hands-on activities
  • Cost: Free
