Dining with Diabetes is a multi-session program that offers practical strategies and hands-on experiences to help you manage diabetes through healthy eating and lifestyle habits. Learning how to make informed food choices and build healthy routines can help you better manage your health and overall well-being.

Each session, you will explore topics through group discussion, cooking demonstrations, activities, and goal setting. You will consider ways to:

  • Make healthy food choices that support diabetes management
  • Plan balanced meals and snacks
  • Read and understand nutrition labels
  • Prepare simple, healthy recipes at home
  • Monitor portion sizes and carbohydrate intake
  • Increase physical activity in ways that fit your lifestyle
  • Reduce stress and support overall wellness
  • Build habits that can lead to long-term health improvements
  • Gain confidence in managing diabetes every day

Cost: $0 for participants thanks to funding from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services Diabetes program
