This program is for small and new beginner farmers.
Learn the basics of chicken processing at this hands-on workshop.
Topics covered will include:
- humane slaughter
- scalding
- plucking
- dressing
- how to cut up whole chickens
Everything you need to know to prepare home raised chickens for the kitchen and freezer.
This workshop will focus on educating and providing networking opportunities for new and beginning farmers, ranchers, and veteran farmers.
All Missourians are invited.
