Certified Advanced Fire and Ambulance District Training: Elections, Candidate Filings, and Candidate Personal Financial Disclosure (CP27138)

In this course, participants will learn about the election process for ambulance and fire protection districts, including the calling for elections,available ballot subjects, payment of election cost, prohibitions on such districts during elections, different types of elections, and key election milestone dates.Participants will also learn the timing and order of events before the election, review the qualifications and disqualifications for board of director candidates of such districts, and learn about any personal finance disclosure requirements by Missouri Ethics Laws for such candidates.Participants will also discuss who can disqualify candidates for the boards of directors of such districts.
