The Basics of Grain Marketing Workshop
Join us for a two-day, in-person event on February 18–19 at the Boone County Electric Cooperative Building (1413 Rangeline St., Columbia, MO). This workshop provides practical, farm-ready strategies on key grain marketing topics, including basis, market carry, margins, cash markets, forward and futures contracts, hedge-to-arrive and basis contracts, deferred pricing, hedging, storage, and overviews of options, spreads, and crop insurance.

Beyond the two-day session, participants will benefit from quarterly Zoom classes for continued learning and networking throughout the year. The program features interactive activities, industry panels, and farmer discussions.

Cost: $100 | Seats: Limited to 50
