Join us to learn about raising and managing small chicken flocks for eggs and meat production.
Topics will include general management for backyard flocks including equipment needs, breed selection, coop requirements, nutrition, biosecurity, raising chicks, managing adult chickens and processing eggs.
Workshop leaders are:
- Dr. Tatinana Fisher, State Extension Specialist-Lincoln University
- Heather Conrow, Field Specialist in Livestock-University of Missouri Extension
- Jim Humphrey, Field Specialist in Livestock-University of Missouri Extension
There is no cost to attend, but we ask you please RSVP by February 27th for meal counts.
